Got the same huge standard triple room with a view booked online, loved that. The location of the hotel was simple, in a quiet neighbourhood. Found The Bolton with perfect drinks 200 metres away.

The standard double room had a comfortable bed and the facilities were convenient; the location was amazing, within a short walk to everywhere and just 5 minutes' walk to the Tardis Police Box.

Stayed for 2 nights, the hotel was quaint little and clean, it had stunning location near 2 Underground stations in a very nice neighborhood. The breakfast had lots of selection, the food was nice! Liked our stay and location of the venue, and will be back.

best thing is the location. Earl's Court is very pleasant, not crowded with tourists and you are close to everything: 5 metro stops to the centre, 30 minutes walk to Notting Hill. It also has restaurants and all kinds of services you might need. hotel is very basic but clean which is what matters most to us along with the location. If the aim is simply to go to sleep after the sightseeing days it is more than enough. It has a hairdryer and a kettle to make tea, coffee or chocolate that comes in handy. plus of having breakfast included is phenomenal because you save the time of walking around looking for a place to have breakfast. It is true that it is very basic: toast, cereals, milk, tea, coffee, fruit salad and little more (for us it was enough). staff changes practically every day and there are some more friendly and smiling and others less. the deal was right. They also have a room to leave your bags in case you arrive at the hotel too early or in case your flight leaves at the end of the day). There is no elevator and no one to help you carry your bags up the stairs (we didn't mind but I'll mention it in case someone considers it a handicap). Considering the exorbitant prices and low quality of the accommodation in London, I think it's a good quality/price option.
The doors do not have a knob to open and close carefully, but must be closed with a knock, so it is easy to wake up or be awakened by these knocks. The soundproofing of the rooms is not good either, so it depends on the education of the neighbours who touch you, they will more or less disturb you.

The truth is that before I stayed in this accommodation I had some doubts because of the comments I had read about it but of course, in my case, the experience has been more than good and that is why I want to share it . My stay was 4 days and 3 nights. My room was on the ground floor and overlooked the courtyard behind the house. The views were nice. A luminous room, wide and comfortable bed (well, it was two beds together put as one). The room itself is not big but the high ceilings give a feeling of spaciousness. The bathroom was very small, clean and renovated. Every day they went over the cleaning of the room. . The location is excellent; good and safe area. Nearby there are restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. 5 minutes from Earl's Court Station. In short, I would come back to this accommodation.
The walls do not insulate much from noise so you are more exposed to acoustic disturbances from above and from the adjoining rooms . One of the lights on a bedside table wasn't working. The room's locking system doesn't seem very secure to me; I didn't have any problems with it anyway. . There was no closet itself but there was an open system for hanging clothes and a drawer with doors to put some clothes inside. In my case, since I was only there a few days, it wasn't a problem and I had more than enough space, but for longer stays it might be too small. I would add a few more hangers, though.

The location of the accommodation is VERY good. Only 5-10 mins walk to the metro entrance of 'Earl's Court' (District Line).
Once the good stuff was said, I went in to comment on several things. The price, at least the one I paid (more than 100 pounds per night), is excessive for what they offer. It is a quite normal B&B, with a poor breakfast (toast, butter and jam, cereal and coffee... Little more the truth) and a reception that closes from 00 hrs to 7 in the morning. If you arrive later they are waiting for you but I don't understand where the difficulty lies in having someone at the reception on the night shift. It is an old house reformed but do not expect anything of the other world. Small room. New bathrooms (thank goodness) and comfortable beds. The rest is taken from Mary Poppins. I don't do that anymore. If you have no other option, this accommodation will give you at least a roof over your head. If you have other options, choose them before this one. Unless they drop the prices drastically, of course.
